Socioeconomic Study – ENEVA Gas Pipeline

Virtú Ambiental was responsible for preparing the socioeconomic section of the Simplified Environmental Report (RAS) for the ENEVA gas pipeline, a project that required a comprehensive methodological approach to map the social impacts along the entire length of the project.

The work included field visits to a representative sample of families located in both the direct and indirect areas of influence of the gas pipeline. In addition to the diagnosis of the communities, meetings were held with institutional representatives from the various municipalities located along the route of the project.

This methodology allowed for a comprehensive understanding of the regional socioeconomic contexts, identifying local particularities and supporting the development of appropriate measures for each reality encountered. The project demonstrates our experience in large-scale linear projects, where the diversity of social contexts requires differentiated approaches.
